In partnership with the Diocese, we are offering a retreat and new group for teens to help you grow in holiness and develop the skills needed to confidently and effectively invite others to know and love our Lord.

The retreat will be held at Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI on March 7-9. Cost is $20 thanks to a Catholic Foundation grant. The retreat begins at 5:30pm Friday and conclude at 12:45pm Sunday.  We will meet to carpool at 4:15pm at St. Therese on Friday and expect to return at 2pm on Sunday.  This may be delayed if the group stops for lunch -- if your teen does not have a phone, please contact Molly, Brisa, or the parish cell at 920.714.8531 for updates.

El retiro se llevará a cabo en el Centro de Conferencias de Green Lake en Green Lake, WI, del 7 al 9 de marzo. El costo es de $20 gracias a una subvención de la Fundación Católica. El retiro comienza a las 5:30 p.m. del viernes y concluye a las 12:45 p.m. del domingo.  Nos reuniremos para compartir el viaje a las 4:15pm en St. Therese el viernes y esperamos regresar a las 2pm el domingo.  Esto puede retrasarse si el grupo se detiene para almorzar. The primary commitment of the retreat is to continue to grow in holiness and leadership within the Church by joining a group that will meet Tuesday nights every two weeks into early summer.  Meeting nights are 6:30-8:30pm on March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22, and so forth.

El compromiso principal del retiro es continuar creciendo en santidad y liderazgo dentro de la Iglesia uniéndose a un grupo que se reunirá los martes por la noche cada dos semanas hasta principios del verano.  Las noches de reunión son de 6:30 a 8:30pm el 11 de marzo, 25 de marzo, 8 de abril, 22 de abril, etc.

• Bedding supplies: sheets/blankets or a sleeping bag

Thank you for registering for the KREWE Leadership Retreat Weekend on March 7,8,9. The retreat team is so excited for you to join us this weekend. Know we are praying for you as we prepare for this awesome experience together. Here are some of the basic logistics for the weekend. The retreat takes place at the Green Lake Conference Center

The phone number is included above as cell reception is not always readily available. If your family has a situation and needs to contact you, they can call the Conference Center and ask to reach Tommy Nelson in order to get a hold of you. This also allows you to be free of the burden of your cell phone for the whole weekend!

Please arrive at the conference center by 5:30pm on Friday March 7. The attached map outlines the route to Carroll Youth Center where the retreat will take place. In addition to the $20 retreat fee, we are asking all participants to bring a snack (chips or cookies) and a 2 liter of soda to share with the whole retreat group.

We will be staying in a dormitory style building next to the Carroll Youth Center. Each room has a bunk bed and a single bed and will sleep 3 people. It is connected to another room of 3 by a shared bathroom. All participants are asked to bring their own bedding supplies like sheets, blankets, or a sleeping bag. There are mattresses and pillows provided. We are all asked to bring our own towels and toiletries as well. Please also pack any personal items or medications you may need for the weekend. Dress is comfortable and casual. Please remember to dress modestly and no inappropriate messages or clothing.

Most of our meals will be served at a cafeteria that is about a 10-minute walk away from the Youth Center. So be sure to bring adequate footwear and weather appropriate outerwear for th walk rain or shine or freezing cold!

The retreat will conclude on Sunday at 12:30pm. We will not be serving lunch on Sunday so maybe plan for a stop on the way home. We will have the opportunity to have our Sunday obligation Mass met during the course of the retreat.

Other than that, we invite you to come with an open mind and heart prepared to encounter Jesus Christ in a powerful way. We want you to not have to worry about things from home so try and bring as few distractions as possible. We are praying for you and look forward to seeing you soon!
